Oh, San Francisco.
How I love/hate you.
Hate you because you are a crowded/busy/gloomy city- and I hate BIG cities.
Love you because you are quite charming in your own, very special way. And can even be pretty when the sun decides to shine upon you.
It’s not your fault that cities stress me out and make me feel trapped.
Or that you are deprived of sunshine.
Or, that every time I go over the bay bridge I practically pass out from holding my breath because i’m scared there will be an earth quake and the bridge will collapse in the bay.
I can’t blame you for these things.
After all, your not all bad for me.
You make the best clam chowder and sourdough bread EVER. Two of my favorites.
So, even though you may not always be my cup of tea, visiting you on rare, special occasions isn’t so bad either.
Unless you decide to rain all over me the day I do show up.
Like yesterday.
Then we have a problem…
Best Sourdough bread i’ve ever eaten. |

Even though my shoes are still soaked through, i’ll be back to visit you again.
There is something that keeps drawing me back.
And I don’t think it’s just the bread.
