How to Serve
These crispy air fryer chicken wings are perfect for game day, parties, or casual weeknight dinners. Serve them with classic sides like celery sticks, carrot sticks, and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Pair them with sweet potato fries, fried okra, or mac and cheese for a Southern-inspired spread. You can also dip the wings in sauces like sweet and tangy mumbo sauce, creamy comeback sauce, or this Japanese BBQ sauce for even more variety. For a lighter meal, serve the wings over a crisp green house salad or alongside coleslaw and cornbread. No matter how you serve them, they’re always a hit.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Storage: Let the wings cool completely, then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–5 minutes to regain crispiness. You can also reheat them in a preheated 400°F oven for 3-5 minutes. And if you’re in a hurry, microwave until heated through.
Freezing: Place cooled wings on a baking sheet in a single layer and freeze until solid. Transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat straight from frozen in the air fryer at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, or until heated through and crispy.
