During my trip to Munich, I made a little visit to the Hofbrauhaus…

Hofbrauhaus is famous for their delicious beer,
lively beer hall,
and german food.
Of course, I had to make a visit.I enjoyed a pretzel, beer and very large sausage.
It was gooood.
(and, in case you’re wondering- I am not a vegetarian while living in Germany. I would miss out on too much)

The next time I return, however,
I will go with more people than just myself,
maybe have more than one beer and join the party!

The beer is delicious.
The food, on the other hand, left me wanting more…
in my opinion, it was not worth the price.

But, if you’re ever in Munich, make a visit,
and at least sip on a beer or two.

So cool to see it from this vantage! I had a long layover in Munich and spent my time wandering around in search of this place. When I finally found it, I chickened out on eating alone and left with only a picture. So glad to see you were brave 🙂

You must try the beer that is mixed with either sprite or lemonade (pretty sure it is sprite, but the language barrier only left me with "lemonade") – it is delicious. 🙂

Yeah!! I agree on the food. But the beer totally makes up for that.
And on the whole going alone thing…if you haven't noticed already, people are a lot more "friendly?" in Europe. And I say that with quotes because I don't know if I'm using the right word. But basically, it's not uncommon to sit at a table with perfect strangers and strike up conversation…especially when there's beer involved. lol so if you are forced to go alone again, don't feel like a major tool if you start chatting with your neighbor. LOL That's what the ginormous tables are for. Ahhh memories. LOL

We MUST make a trip together.

But the potato salad is the best… love German potato salad. You should get the half chicken next time, it's delish. Although maybe they just have that at Oktoberfest? hm…
