A couple years ago,
I traveled with my travel buddy (the fiance) to Yosemite National Park.
I had heard about this place before.
You know, heard how amazing and beautiful it was.
But, i’ll be completely honest, I was not prepared for Yosemite.

Yosemite is an absolute treasure.
And one of the most, if not the most, beautiful places I have ever been lucky enough to view with my two eyes.
It is a place where, even for just a moment, time stops.
It’s just you- surrounded by completely raw, natural, and spectacular beauty.
A place man played no part in shaping.

It is one of my favorite places in this world.

If you are ever planning a visit to California,
this should be a the top of your list.

You will not be disappointed.
I promise.

To enjoy its full beauty,
plan some hikes,
get up high,
and see the park from different angles.

Just get lost.

I was lucky enough to grow up only two hours away from Yosemite, so I was a frequent visitor, but its beauty still blows me away every time. Every time I visit my parents back in Cali, the second thing I do is plan a trip to Yosemite. (First, I get In-N-Out Burger on the way home from the airport haha.) I'm glad you appreciate it for its true beauty!

I went once when I was around 10 or so, and I fell in love. Especially with the souvenir shops because they had all these bear things (statues, stuffed animals, plates, whatever, you name it) haha – I don't think that's something I should be proud to admit :p

My favorite place other than France! My hubby and I are headed there in a week and I can't wait to take my camera and snap snap snap. Just read your about … I am a slug as well 🙂 and my mom lives in Sac so I am always in your neck of the woods. Love this blog of yours! Bisous.
